What you need to know

Legal structure
As owner of a villa on Parc Résidentiel Château de Barbet you become full owner of the villa and the plot. You will be involved with the ASL (Association Syndicale Libre), SCI Château de Barbet and SARL BR Services.
ASL Château de Barbet
The ASL owns the roads and public green spaces. Every plot owner is automatically a member. Each member has voting rights at the general meetings where management costs are set.
SCI Château de Barbet
An SCI has been established to manage the Château and common facilities. Each owner receives 1/180 social share upon purchase. There is at least one meeting per year.
Rental possible
Owners can choose to rent out their property. The owner decides whether and when to rent — directly or through a tour operator.
Purchase costs (notary fees)
You buy with buyer's costs. Notary fees average 8% of the purchase price. Estate agent fees are for the account of the seller.
